Handbuilding tableware with Anne Laure Harskamp
We first met Anne at the Emu Plains Market when we were on a sourcing trip and Ly had that little sparkle in her eyes when she saw her booth. We just knew we just had to get Anne on board Eat & Sip! Fortunately for us, she allowed us to wipe out almost her entire table even though we did not order anything beforehand.

When we first set eyes on those vulva bowls and cups on Instagram, we just knew we had to bring them onto Eat & Sip. To be honest, it wasn't hard to fall in love with the other products in her collection as well! We dm-ed Rachel, and a few months later headed down to Victoria, Australia to collect the products!
E&S field trip - The Emu Plains Market
For our last sourcing trip in Australia, we had actually booked the flights for some random dates few months in advance and then we did our research! (I know I know, research usually comes before the booking)
Luckily, our trip coincided with the last Emu Plains Market of the season which we've been wanting to get to for the longest time! If we had missed this one, their next one would only be in October.
A walk-around in an ancient village - Jingdezhen!
On one of the rare days that we did not feel like checking out ceramic markets, shops or makers, we decided to take a walk around the city. We wanted to snap some photographs of the city so we went across across the Yangtse river! Elements of Jingdezhen being a porcelain city were omnipresent, even in the small villages on the outskirts. We were looking at some of the porcelain pieces on the walls of a small little village, when a villager looked at us intensely (for about a good five minutes) and then invited us in!
